nam 2 Unionville Reviews
We love coming here, the chicken wings are amazing! Service is always fast and the quality of the food is always good. One of our go to restaurants.
Today is my birthday! The beautiful owner gave my friend and me free ice cream as a birthday gift. This is my second time visiting this place! It’s truly authentic and delicious. We got numbers #1, #39, and #20—such a refreshing sweet and sour taste! The food is fresh and delicious. Cam on Thank you, Nam2!
Food is excellent at this Unionville Vietnamese gem but not for what you might think. The non-traditional brisket with bone in dual style broiled and braised is unique but the star of the show were the garlic chicken wings (just go ahead and order the large portion, you won’t regret it) and the fried spring rolls (Cha Gio). The Pho itself is surprisingly mediocre. Still the stars are worthy enough to justify frequent visits. Service is professional if a bit cold and the value is not unreasonable.
Very busy and we had to wait for about a half hour. Don't worry, staff have kindly addressed their long wait to get seated by providing plenty of seating at the entrance as well as tea and snacks while you wait. And the food!!!!.... well worth the wait. Those famous dry wings?! A must! Mango salad - is better than a Thai restaurant in Thailand! Loved the food!
I had a great experience at Nam Vietnamese Restaurant! The Beef Noodle Pho had a light and flavorful broth that hit all the right notes. The Dry Chicken Wings were, as always, a highlight - crispy, savory, and utterly addictive. I also had the Beef Stew with Broken Rice, flavour ok although I felt the sauce could be thicker and richer. The ambiance of the restaurant was romantic, comfortable, and intimate, making it an ideal spot for a date night or special occasion.
The food was so delicious It's a little bit far from our area but its worth the visit. The pho was great and the crab pho was good. They have plenty of seating. We will definitely be coming back to try other food
Probably the best Vietnamese restaurant my girlfriend and I have been. The Bun Rieu soup is pretty large and is the best we have ever tried so far. The broth is clear and tasty. I tried the butter beef with a smoked rib and both were delicious. The meat is super tender on the rib and the butter beef is unique as I’ve never seen it or tried it before. Also the restaurant isn’t super cold unlike other places. Perfect temperature and it has very nice decoration. Feels very relaxed and chill like a family restaurant. Last I’m surprised it’s open so late. It’s currently 23:29 and it’s open until 2 am. It’s also a Monday and it’s pretty full so the atmosphere is great! Thanks for a great experience! We will be back!
I absolutely love this place! Their famous dry wings are super crispy and packed with flavor — definitely a must-try. I also ordered the Banh Xeo and was amazed at how huge and crispy it was. It came with lots of fresh herbs and dipping sauce, perfect for wrapping in rice paper. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented
